LOCATION
Bella Monte is located in Desert Hot Springs, CA, 15 minutes
from Palm Springs, 90 minutes from Los Angeles and San Diego. It
sits on a residential hillside at 1,100 feet with spectacular views
of the Coachella Valley and Mount San Jacinto.
DESCRIPTION
Bella Monte
Hot Springs Resort and Spa is a romantic and elegant boutique
resort, featuring twenty-one graciously appointed guest rooms
including sixteen deluxe Bella King rooms, three Bella Double Double
rooms and two Bella Suites. The Palm Springs area has long been a
favorite destination for vacation travelers who enjoy “taking the
waters” of our famous hot mineral water. What sets Bella Monte apart
is the precise attention to detail of each aspect of its creation.
Interiors have high-end furnishings such as comfortable pillow-top
king size beds, down-filled comforters, wide screen plasma
televisions, DVD players and spacious tiled baths with their own
large Jacuzzi tubs and exclusive in-room hot mineral water. The
grounds are carefully landscaped with lush tropical plants and
foliage. Three mineral water pools are provided (swimming pool and
Jacuzzi pool on the upper level and Jacuzzi pool and European dry
sauna on the Lanai level). Pool level rooms open onto the patio and
pool area. Lanai level rooms have their own mini-patio. All the
views are spectacular, embracing the Coachella Valley and often
snow-capped mountain range in the distance.
History: The
hotel began in the early 1950's as Bertram's Ma-Ha-Yah Lodge and had
an incredible 20-year history as one of Desert Hot Springs' most
successful and friendly destinations. The B-shaped swimming pool
stands for the Bertram family who, over time, developed their home
from a 5-room guest lodge to a 25-room forerunner of today's
boutique hotels and inns. Descendants of the Bertram family would
scarcely recognize the property today after its multimillion dollar
makeover! The Bella Monte Resort staff is dedicated to providing
guests with superior service levels.

Bella Monte opened
officially in February 2009. It is an adult only, non-smoking, no
pets resort (service animals are accepted). Its accommodations cater
to a maximum of 42 guests, ensuring the highest level of service.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Bella has 19 rooms and 2 suites, each carefully designed for the
ultimate in guest relaxation and comfort. Soothing nature-inspired
colors and elegant touches such as creamy crown molding and
hand-sewn window treatments will soon have you in a relaxed state of
mind. Each room is graciously appointed with ultra-comfortable
pillow-top king bed (or 2 full size beds in our Double Double
rooms), fluffy down-filled comforters, large screen plasma
television with remote, DVD player, microwave, refrigerator and
clock radio. Spacious tiled baths have private Jacuzzi tubs and
exclusive in-room access to our hot mineral water. Guests have 24
hour access to all amenities onsite.

eSSENCE SPA AT
BELLA MONTE
The eSSENCE Spa at Bella Monte provides guests with an array of
relaxing treatments in an intimate setting. Guests can choose from
traditional Swedish and Deep Tissue massage to Reflexology,
Aromatherapy, Sugar Body Scrubs and more. Spa services are also
available at Day Spa rates to locals wishing to schedule a treatment
or use the Bella Monte pools.
